There is a jewel in Dearborn called The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village.
The Village was established by Ford in 1929 in an effort to capture the days that were dissappearing due to the Industrial revolution. In the Village, you will see historic buildings that were dissassembled and reconstructed in the Village. You will find the original garage where Ford built his first automobile; Edison’s Labratory from Menlo Park, New Jersey; a courthouse where Abraham Lincoln practiced law; and the farm house of Harvey Firestone to mention a few. If you are near the Detroit area, it is a worthwhile way to spend a beautiful day.
Here are a few photographs I have taken in the Village.
I hope you enjoyed the photographs. Next week we go back to poetry!
